The Met Gala took place on Monday of course, in New York City. The theme at Met Gala was a religious event, as the theme of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's next Costume Institute Exhibit is, "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.". For those of you who don't know that The Met Gala is the most anticipated fashion event of the year! The only time the bells and whistles are brought out to claim their rightful iconic fashion moments for the stars. This is a pivotal time of the year to make fashion history, but the expectations are going to be held high from that point on. Blake Lively looked like a dream that I wasn't ready to wake up from and Amal Clooney was so regally sophisticated in pants with George by her side. We can't forget about Rihanna and Kim K. serving up a plate of HALLELUJAH on the red carpet. One of our faves; Sarah Jessica Parker never lets us down is Dolce & Gabbana Couture with Andy Cohen as her chosen king. Zendaya was vision in Atelier Versace channeling a "Game of Thrones" female knight in Armour. Oh! and I almost forgot to mention female rappers/singers Nicki Minaj wearing "Oscar De La Renta" and Cardi B. wearing Custom "Moschino" looked Gorgeous showing off her baby bump with Jeremy Scott as her date. It appears the two rumored rivals buried the hatchet that night and hopefully this means a female collaboration; I'm just saying. But seriously, who can actually stay mad when everyone around you looks their best, including yourself? It's amazing how fashion brings people together. And then there were a few stars who needed to fashionably repent, but no cattiness here, just love.
