So if no one was aware, but Anna Wintour and Meryl Streep was not so fond of one another when Streep agreed to play "Miranda Priestly" in the "Devil Wears Prada". The Devil Wears Prada is a 2006 American comedy-drama film based on Lauren Weisberger's 2003 novel of the same name. It was suppose to be a representation of Weisberger's experience as Wintour's assistant. When Wintour got word that Streep agreed to play the role of "MP", She reached out to Streep and told her if she continues to go forward with role in the film, that she will never be on the cover of Vogue again! Streep's response was, "I'm too old to be on the cover of Vogue". Eleven years later, it seems that Streep and Wintour has buried the hatchet. Recently, Streep graced the November's issue that happen to be photographed by world renowned, Annie Leibovitz looking marvelous. I wonder if Wintour can allow bygones be bygones with Tim Gunn...?
