Slavery Trade Still in Existence...

November 29, 2017

It has been breaking new that Libya is currently running an African slave trade. The nation is astonished by the treacherous doings and the idea of not knowing about it till now. So many people have spoken out such as Grammy award winning rapper "T.I" Tip Harris and r&b/pop sensation Chris Brown about how the personally felt towards the acts of Libya. Tip Harris went to twitter to let the world have a piece of his mind, https://twitter.com/Tip/status/935364485853872130 . T.I says "lets fight back!!" and as a nation, we should do just that and make sure slavery comes to an end once and for all. Chris brown's wrote, when France got bombed i see the entire fb saying pray for France, when Manchester got bomb i see the same. When Texas was flooding everyone was saying pray for Texas, but this slave trade is currently going on in Libya and we don’t see it all over social media.. smh." and he's absolutely correct. Even Ms. Naomi Campbell went to her social circle via Instagram and was photographed holding a sign in the street that read, "#STOP LIBYA SLAVE TRADE" while wearing a Donatella Versace design "Jump Suit" and made her protest loud and clear. This nation has to wake up and realize that we as people,we are entitled to our freedom and freedom of speech. And how did we get to this point? As the BBC reported back in May, “Libya has been beset by chaos since NATO-backed forces overthrew long-serving ruler Col. Moammar Gadhafi in October 2011. The real question is, how long has this been going on? and how long has the government known about what's happening...?
